How the CUPW strike affects your business

12/13/24 Update“It is my view, and the view of the FMCS, that the parties are at an impasse,” said Canadian federal Labour Minister Steven MacKinnon in a statement earlier today. The Labour Minister is now sending the labor dispute between CUPW and Canada Post to the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) in an effort to resume Canada Post operations and get striking CUPW workers back to work. The resolution of the strike now requires CIRB to agree with MacKinnon’s assertion that the negotiations are at a standstill.What does this mean for shippers?Despite recent movements, this situation is still ongoing. Canada Post customers still cannot ship or print labels at this time, and will not be able to do so until an official announcement has been made. What are the next steps?If the CIRB agrees, MacKinnon says the Labour Relations Board will order Canada Post, and all employees represented by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, to resume operations and extend the terms of existing col

Company Investors Update: Q4 2019

Hey Team, It’s been an awesome, but intense, winter. Many things are tracking well, but there are some challenges we’re working through. TL;DR Revenue is up 22%  We’re scaling up important product initiative Apollo.  We finally closed Microsoft for a major partnership  Big time hire — we closed Joe Bloggs as our new VP All The Things Mrs Customer Success herself had a major life event — welcome to Baby Customer Success! Key Metrics: We continue to have a ton of momentum across every important metric. From Sep to Nov we grew revenue 5%+ Every Month. From Aug to Nov we grew 17%. We are also on pace for a really huge December. We’ve learned something big this quarter about our Pricing Model and by February we’ll be on a $2M run rate. Needless to say I’m cautiously pumped. We’ve basically 2x’d on revenue so far this year and I believe will have 2.5x’d by end of year. One big thing we are scaling up is our Super Cool New Widget. We now have 25+ Companies that have bought Our Supe

Use Digital Hub to boost event RegistrationBest practise

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a quick tip on using your community to increase event registration for your next event! We recently ran an event on the importance of Customer Success in 2020 and we saw a massive 70% of our event registrations come from signups on our community! What did we do? We simply set up an event on our community—announcing what we planned to cover and who would be speaking—and enabled event registration directly on the community. We also found that those who wanted to ask questions about the event did so in the comments section, which really got people excited about the topics we would be covering. What was also fantastic was that we saw those that attended the event kept the discussion going in the weeks after on the community too! So, definitely, for your next event be sure to use your community! ?

Using user-groups for beta programsBest practise

We’re always updating our users on new features we launch via the community. It’s such a great way to communicate on a 1-to-many basis with our customers. Additionally, what’s even better is that we have started to launch beta testing groups on our community where we invite a certain number of customers to test new features before we release them.   Not only does this allow us to iron out any bugs before a full roll-out, it also creates a real feeling of collaboration and togetherness between us and our customers. Such a great way to make sure you are building a product that really meets the needs of your end users!

Injecting more data into your reporting takes your view on the customer journey to a whole new level. Regardless of the report or dataset you’re using—whether it’s feature adoption data or a geographical view of your customers and their support requests—smart use of more data will grant you a better view on your customer and their needs.   To better enable you to customize your reporting, we have decided to start adding custom integrations. How to Create a Landscape Packing Slipcontact support

How to create a packing slip template that prints in a landscape orientation.  ShipStation’s packing slip templates print in portrait mode. There is no setting to change the orientation to landscape, but if you can edit your packing slip template HTML (available for Silver plan and higher), you can enter custom HTML and CSS into ShipStation’s editor that will change the orientation to landscape. Copy the template code from this public pastebin: https://pastebin.com/rM2HZHcu In ShipStation, go to Settings > Templates > Packing Slips and click +New Packing Slip Template. This will open the packing slip editor, which has four sections.  The code from the above link is separated by comments (surrounded by <!-- --> ) to indicate which part of the code should be pasted into which part of ShipStation’s packing slip editor. NOTE: this template adds nothing to the Order Footer section. But, there must be something in each of the four template sections of ShipStation’s editor. So, in

Does ShipStation have a help center for non-US merchants?reporting

Yes! We have unique help centers for every country in which ShipStation is available. This is because the carrier integrations for each country are unique to the country. Our merchants in the UK don't need information about our US-specific carrier integrations. Our merchants in Australia don't need information about our Canada carriers. So, we've built help centers specifically for every country.  US Help Center (in English and Spanish) Canada Help Center (in English and French) UK Help Center Australia Help Center France Help Center (in French only)As we expand ShipStation to merchants in even more countries, we'll add more help centers. You can click the flag switcher in the help center header to switch from country to country.  Keep in mind, the ShipStation features should work the same for everyone. So, if you need to look up how to use Scan to Verify or create an automation rule, it won't matter which help center you are on. But each country will have country specific integrations

How do I resolve Stamps.com: Authentication failed Error?Article

QuestionWhy am I seeing and How do I resolve the "Stamps.com: Authentication failed" error?  Answer When you get the Authentication Failed error there can be two main culprits to account for.  1. Your stamps password was changed and needs to be updated in ShipStationYou will need to update your password in ShipStation. You will go to Settings>Shipping> Carriers & Fulfillment> Stamps account> settings, click reauthorize, enter your new password in both fields, and hit save.   2. Billing information has been changed with Stamps.comIn this scenario, you will follow the same steps as scenario 1 but with one difference. Once you click reauthorize, if you did not also change your password, you will just enter your current Stamps.com password in both fields.  If after these steps you are still unable to use your Stamps.com account, contact Stamps support at (888) 434-0055 for further assistance.
